Make a great first impression

Hi, I’m Suzanne. I am an image consultant and fashion stylist and the founder of ‘Your First Impression’. I work with individual clients, small business’s, large companies and corporations. My aim is to help everyone to portray the best image possible.

At ‘Your First Impression’ I show people of all ages from all walks of life how to look good and thus feel fantastic about their personal image. I not only show you “What not to wear” but what you should wear. I believe that often looking good in clothes can be more difficult for some than knowing “How to look good Naked”

Having a great personal style is reachable for anyone at any age. All you need is the right tuition. Using the services of ‘Your First Impression’ will teach you how to wear every thing from the right hair style to the best way to wear your make-up. It will also show you clothing that you will feel great and look fabulous in.

‘Your First Impression’ believes that everyone has assets and flaws. These make the difference in knowing how to accentuate the right ones and camouflage the others.
The greatest benefit you have from working with us is that you are now in control of how you look. When you shop you have a purpose and know exactly what you need. A fabulous wardrobe is essential. I will show you how to make wise purchases which will save you time and money by being prepared.

The end results are that you have a perfect look with clothes that suit your taste, age and lifestyle and you know you look great in them!

Here are 10 great suggestions for looking Fabulous

1. Make sure you have good undergarments. There is such a great variety of underwear available for all shapes and sizes.

2. Get your hair cut and styled every 6 weeks even if it is just a small trim.

3. If you colour your hair keep it touched up every 6 weeks

4. Learn how to apply make-up properly to your face, in flattering colours

5. Blend your clothing colours with your skin tone eg if you are light then light colours will look good on you if you are warm, golden undertone colours will complement ,the same is true of deep or dark and cool or subtle.

6. Blend your colours. The most flattering is monochromatic even if the top is a little lighter than the bottom.

7. Keep patterns to a minimum and have the greater amount of your clothing in plain flattering colours and add pattern in a scarf or top and for men a tie. For women patterns in a dress can look fantastic, but remember as soon as you have pattern it is memorable so you will not get as much wear out of it.

8. Men and Women, keep bags and shoes current

9. Add accessories but do not overdo it only create 2 points of focus- either earrings and bracelets or necklace and bracelets not fancy earrings and necklace together and please do not match.

10. Don’t worry about size FIT is the only thing that matters. Firm enough to show your shape and loose enough to be flattering.

Once you have mastered the art of being stylish without being a slave to fashion you will find that you not only feel great, but also in control and with renewed confidence.

Stay tuned as next month I will be giving you tips of how to travel light yet prepared for any occasion.
